Great tour this past week working with terrific students at @colburnschool, @cubouldermusic, and @arizonastateuniversity and hanging out with some wonderful @nwsymphony alumni and dear friends. Successfully dodged half the nation’s flight delays in the process, a major achievement having taken 4 flights in 5 days ✈️

Had some folks say they liked the last video on vagus nerve activation, so here’s another tool I use to go from “fight or flight” to “rest and digest”.

This is a quick and simple grounding check-in for musicians (or anyone, really) to feel more present in your body and less stuck in your head.

Thanks to @miraphone_germany for making tubas that are really fun to play. The Petrushka 1281 was one of the first F tubas I ever played and I can’t see myself playing any other horn.
