As an educator, Jarrett is currently the Assistant Professor of Tuba/Euphonium at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. Before that, he held positions at Vanderbilt University, the University of Memphis, the University of Manitoba and New World School of the Arts at Miami Dade College. Jarrett’s students have successfully auditioned for All-State ensembles in Michigan and Florida, summer programs including the Boston University Tanglewood Institute and Interlochen Arts Camp, and several undergraduate and graduate music programs across the United States and Canada including Yale University, Northwestern University and Boston University. Jarrett has presented masterclasses at several schools around the globe including the New England Conservatory, Cleveland Institute of Music, DePaul University, Northwestern University, the University of Western Ontario, the University of Calgary, Mount Royal University, the Universidad EAFIT and the Universidad de Antioquia in Colombia.
